"Masonry is my life. I devote a lot of time to Freemasonry, thereby making a commitment to help, aid, and assist in improving the conditions within our organization and communities. While being so thankful that my family has loved me and inspired me to continue to be one of the best Masons that I could be. " ~ MWGM. Alex D. Horne Sr.
Thoughts from the Grand Master:
It is not from the lack of desire to learn that the Craft suffers, but rather from the lack of instruction. We often say that Masonry makes good men into better men. Our lives are an example for all to see. But, how can we be the example if we dont utilize the knowledge that we have and apply it to our daily actions. We must strive to strengthen our inner selves to improve in intelligence and character, whereby we can truly stand upright and be above reproach. We have the knowledge to be better than we are, if only we learn to apply ourselves. We should be striving for perfection at all times.
It was once said that Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. We can change Masonry in Minnesota, if we continue to encourage Masonic Education and require study. Let us hold each other accountable and apply our Masonic principles and thereby empower our organization, communities and families.
"Propriety is not the result of law, but rather of tradition, custom and usage.
